JU 290 losses 16 february 1944
I'm looking for informations about 2 JU 290 losses the 16 february 1944:
-the first by 811 NAS Wildcat on Biter, -the second by Coastal Command Beaufighters controlled by biter's fighter direction officers . sources : British aircraft carriers by David Hobbs Thank you Alain

Elfert was shot down by Sqn Ldr R Wright of 235 Sqn wsw Ireland, Bergen by Erikson & Dimes of 811Sqn

Looking at "Die großen Dessauer" (Kössler/Ott) I can add the following - Bergen is listed as Staffelkapitän and 0177 is reported as lost in Pl.Qu. 25W/6336.
