eBay: Captured Soviet airplanes
A not every day find.
LEMB: IL-4s were captured by the Germans during a bombing raid during which the hapless IL-4s overflew their range and came down behind German lines out of fuel. The Germans sold the captured IL-4s to Finland and these photos show the aircraft still carrying the Balkenkreuz http://www.ebay.de/itm/A389-Foto-Weh...UAAOSw9YNZspOI |

Re: eBay: Captured Soviet airplanes
There were captured intact DB-3s and DB-3Fs (Ił-4) during Barbarossa June-August 1941 on the abondend airfields in North-West i Western Fronts (like in Bobrujsk).
There were not so many these force-landed behind German lines, more were simple abondend in the summer 1941. The same case were with SBs, a plenty of them were captured, many intact. mw
