To Ruy Horta & Christer Bergstroem

After receiving a number of private comments from Christer Bergstroem that are clearly linked to my posts on this and mirror Allied forums, I would like to make them 'public'. I understand that it is not very gentlemanry to make a private correspondence available to all but there are no intimate details and they are very much on the subject.
Any comments?

Franek, a very big

(Why is there no smiley for shaking one's head and sighing?)

I think all of it is ridiculous, but maybe it is just funny?

Must say this whole thing is getting om my nerves, would be a shame if laissez-faire must make place of active moderation.

First this post should have been made in the form of a PM to me and perhaps Christer if you wanted to be open about it, but hanging it out on the forum is already the first unrecoverable step.

The couple of weeks I'be been doing a lot of testing with CMS and forum tools, thinking about what direction I want to go, having to babysit two grown guys who simply like to argue for the sake of argument is not my idea of time well spent - it even spoils the good side of the current debate.

Like I explained before, this forum is not my occupation, I have a regular job.

Now start behaving like (professional) grown men, discuss or even debate up to a level, but do so in a constructive manner.

Private mail is a delicate issue, it should not become haressment, remember if need be I can look into the dbase and see all PM.

This is not Server.com so get back on track...

Ruy, either you have Laissez faire (which I think is wrong), or you don't.
You can't both have it and not have it. Your first mistake is to accept such posts as the one with which Franek started this silly thing.

Calm down, everyone! You too, Ruy! 8)

Sorry Ruy, I get a little irritated, receiving pms strictly related to my posts on the forum. Perhaps I was just a little bit too nervous, for my excuse I am editing a small thing.

Christer
I was not going to publish those excerpts as you asked for.

That’s all right, Franek.

Can we please stop this silly thing now?

Can we both agree to ask Ruy to abandon his Laissez-faire for just another while and delete both these silly threads (“An unusual request” and “To Ruy Horta & Christer Bergstroem”), and then concentrate more on WW II aviation and less on the people here?

I am against censorship and deleting posts but I leave the decision to Ruy.
