ZG 1 Questions

Does anyone have a mention of an Uffz Anders with 6./ZG 1 and who was St Kap of 7 Staffel between Hptm Kurt Loos (+26 Nov 42) and Lt Rudi Dassow (by which time it had become 4./ZG 26 and a new 7./ZG 1 had been formed with the Ju 88)?

Re: ZG 1 Questions

Uffz. Anders was with 5./ZG 1 in July 1942 as a Bf.

Re: ZG 1 Questions

I think I have never seen hard evidence that Lt. Dassow was St.Fhr. of 7./ZG 1 or 4./ZG 26. Chris, did you?

There is quite a gap between Loos and Dassow. Estl and Hallerbach defintely covering periods, but Hasenberg is imho the "new" 7./Zg 1?

Re: ZG 1 Questions

Thanks for this all John. The names came from Yvgeny on this Forum. Yes Hasenberg was on 7./ZG 1 from June 1944 taking over from Kurt Loew who had taken over from Martin Reuter. Estl is too early for the period I am interested in while Larry and Doug's excellent work duplicate St Kap for Estl and Hallerbach, the latter appearing to go to 9./ZG 1 in 1943?
