1./NJG 101 lost April 1945

Dear gentlemen,

I look for info about the date 13th April 1945. On this day was Ogefr. Johann HEIDER (13.12.1917 Deutsch Krawarn/OS) killed nearby Osterode/Harz - Germany.
He was member of 1. Staffel NJG 101.
Does anyone know the really circumstances?

With many regards

Miro

Probably killed in ground combat. There was quite some heavy combat in the Harz during these days. Many many former Lw-personnel was transfered to ground combat or even to army or SS units. Many former Bodenpersonal and even pilots were transferred.

The 1./NJG 101 was already disbanded on 13.03.45, exctly one month before Heider was killed.
