Eastern front place names from FB to identify

Hi all,

I was hoping someone could help me decypher the following place names on the Eastern Front. They come from a FB of III./KG 54 dated june/july 1941.

Rudi,

Are you sure about the date? Acc. to tihis site III/KG54 was disbanded July 1940 and reformed september 1942.

Rudi,

2 looks like Kalinin (Kaliningrad)?
4 looks like Vilna (Vilnius) in Lithuania?

Oquaig, indeed it seems those are the name of the bombed places/targets; since you can read 4x 250Kg bombs on the right column.

Rudi,

Maybe a good book (like Guderian's memories) or another one on the ground battles on the Army Group North would give you, by the day your airman bombed, a good idea where the front or possible targets were....It may be a long road, but in some of those excellent books about the WH and Panzer Units you do have more "close or small scale maps".
