Argentinian aces

Good evening Gentlemen,

I wonder if there were any genuine Argentinian aces who held the Argentinian citizenship when scoring. Possible candidates are:
  • Colvill-Jones, Thomas 11
  • Beck, Alexander 8+3sh
  • Oliveros, Eduardo 9
  • Honor, Dudley 6+3sh
  • Charney, Kenneth 6
Can anybody tell me more about these guys' citizenship `?

Have a nice Wednesday, sincerely,

Michael

Re: Argentinian aces

This bio of Eduardo Oliveros makes the point that he was and remained a citizen of Argentina during his time flying for Italy in WWI. The English translation is a little fractured but it seems to be clear on that point.

Re: Argentinian aces

Argentina has laid claim to Charney but it seems he was always a British subject.

Good afternoon Keith,

thanks for your post.
This leaves Eduardo as the most promising candidate.

Have a good Wednesday,
