RCAF crash 17 August 43 in Quebec

I am researching an RCAF airman who died 17 August 1943 in Canada. Rasmussen (R.179380).

Information suggest that his aircraft crashed following an air display on 17 August 1943.

Does anyone have information on such a crash?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Mikkel
