Lt. Col. Robert L. Baseler,USAAF
Gentlemen,
I know that Baseler had made ace in MTO during WWII. How many air to air kills in total for him? I remember among his kills were at least four Italian fighter planes to his credit. What was his post-war assignments in the USAF? Sincerely, Edward L. Hsiao |

Re: Lt. Col. Robert L. Baseler,USAAF
Gentlemen,
Thank you for your answers. Lt. Col Baseler and his Group had claimed 38 kills over the Villaorba area on January 30,1944. I wonder what Axis flying units that took the loss of the USAAF pilots? Captain H.H. Green was supposed to have shot down four Ju-52s,one Macchi 202,and one Do-217 on this day. Are those losses confirmed in German records? Sincerely, Edward L. Hsiao |

Check my video out from 1hr 12m 30 seconds. Chet Sluder talks about loadout, Jerry Edwards talks about that mission and there is also detail of others involvement.
