B-17 losses 01 Dec 43
Hello
Two were claimed by luftwaffe over Holland (JG1/JG2:Schelde and Dordrecht) How many were lost? Michel |

Michel,

They were 42-30033 (heading says "B-17 at Sijsele", this must be "near Leisele"), 41-24557 at Snellegem, 42-29768 near Watou (also see https://384thbombgroup.com/_content/...ftKey=42-29768) and 42-3540 near Jehay-Bodegnée. The B-17 at Alken was not lost, but part of crew had jumped out over Belgium. B-17 made it back to Manston, England. Regards, Leendert |
