Re: The German Luftwaffe in Austria

Thank you.

An English description from the Christian Schmidt web site: This work is revised (formerly on the market as "Öfh-Sonderband 30: Verluste der deutschen Luftwaffe in Österreich&quot and has nearly doubled in volume, especially because enlarging the picture part. This new edition also contains a comprehensive chapter dealing with the locations, the Luftwaffe units were based at, in Austria between 1938 and 1945. Comprehensive study showing all (yet known) losses of the German Air Force in Austria, Sept. 1943 - March 1945. Based primarily on the research of Generalquartiermeister-Meldungen (GQM-statements) all losses are reported in detail by comprehensive comments. Where no contemporary data was available reliable secondary-sources, like unit-chronicles, were incooperated. A critical statement of the sources is included, as well as a map showing Austria in 1938 (the year of the "Anschluß&quot. About 250 contemporary pictures, most of them unknown (showing aircraft during and after the war) and 8 color profiles of Simon Schatz complete the book.
