Question about Rudolf Grobe

Hi

In Luftwaffe Officer Career Summaries,he is credited with 6 "abschuss" and KIA with III/JG52 on 22/3/42.
According to one of my sources it was with 5/JG5,KIA on 22/3/42.
All this is not clear.

1)KIA with III/JG52 or 5/JG5 ?
2) I found no victories whatsoever with III/JG52 or 5/JG5

Do any of you know more about?

Thank's in advance
Michel

Re: Question about Rudolf Grobe

De Zeng and Stankey are not sure themselves whether there was one Rudolf Grobe or two:
GROBE, Rudolf. 22.05.41 Oblt., 5./JG 77 POW - Bf 109 E-7 (Black 5 + -) shot down by AA vic Kythera
briefly captured. 22.03.42 Oblt., III./JG 52 KIA - Bf 109 E-7 (Black 5) hit by AA vic Titowka.
Credited with 6 victories.
GROBE, Rudolf. 22.03.42 Oblt., 5./JG 5 KIA - Bf 109 E-7 (Red 6) crashed on landing after taking AA
hits vic Titowka Bay.- mixed up with other Rudolf Grobe?

Re: Question about Rudolf Grobe

The correct identification of the two pilots is this:

GROBE, Otto. 22.05.41 Oblt., 5./JG 77 POW - Bf 109 E-7 (Black 5 + -) shot down by AA vic Kythera briefly captured.

GROBE, Rudolf. June 1941 with III./JG 52 and 22.03.42 Oblt., 5./JG 5 KIA - Bf 109 E-7 (Red 6) crashed on landing after taking AA hits vic Titowka Bay.
