KLu F-104 vs. South Moluccan terrorists 11. June 1977

Hello,
six F-104 where part of an Anti-Terrorists Misson by the Nederland Marine Corps BBE.(Bijzondere Bijstands Eeinheid) The Moluccan seized a train carrying 54 hostages at De Punt in Drenthe province, NE of Netherlands. When the order was given to commence, six waiting F-104 from the Royal Netherlands AF engaged afterburners and buzzed the train at treetop level, making a deafening and disorientating noise and even shattering the trains windows! After this the Marine BBE teams secured the hostages within tree minutes and knock out all the Terrorists. My question, from what Squadron where the F-104?
Bests,
h.

Hans,

From an April 2012 thread on nederlandseluchtvaart.nl the F-104G's were D-6667, D-8104, D-8110, D-8115, D-8288 and D-8319.

Pilots reportedly were Jan van Arkel, Guus Nieuwenhuis, Allard Siemons, Bart van Grevenbroek (in D-6667), Gerhard Westerdijk en Dick Berlijn, all of 322 Squadron, Leeuwarden AB. This F-104 base was closest to train hijack place.

Grüss,
Leendert
