8./LG-1 Wehrpass

Nice complete Wehrpass & Photo to an Observer in 8./LG-1 who was KIA in 1942 in the Crimea. No loose pages.

Hans Becker joined the military in 1939 and served with various Kampfschule and Erg.Kampfgruppen before being assigned to 8./LG-1 on 12th April 1941 as an Observer.
He was killed (and is still listed as Missing, as are the whole crew) on 1st August 1942 when the Ju-88 (L1+BS) he was in was rammed by a Yak-1 fighter. Prior to serving on the Eastern Front he served in Africa and flew 26 operations over the desert, including against 'Festung Tobruk'. He flew an additional 16 missions over the Eastern Front in a 6 week spell.
The circumstances of his loss is stated in the 2 volume German language history of LG-1.
