LW Wehrpass - Special Training entry unknown Equipment
Hello Gents, Could someone please help me out with a couple of special training entries in a Luftwaffe Wehrpass from page 21 R. u. Y. - Gerate - Personal 593 = Ausb. Nr Y. u. S - Gerate - Personal What pieces of equipment do the abbreviations stand for, any help would be appreciated. Regards |

Hi Soldon,
Y-Gerät was a navigationhulp and bombardierungssystem. It worked with a code of points and stripes, the plane got signals and sent it back to the groundstation, the exactly positon from plane was known at ground with it, control about all was alltime from the groundstation.
