Monograms Do 335 book vs Classics Do 335 book

Has anyone compared the two books? Are there enough new information and photos to varrant acqusition of the new book?

Bearing in mind that Smith and Creek are authors in both books and that there appear to be fewer pages in the Classic book than in the Monogram book I'm curious to what improvements have been made, what new sources have surfaced etc.

Any comments appreciated!

/Mikael

Re: Monograms Do 335 book vs Classics Do 335 book

There was a thread about this over on LEMB, I think. Smith & Creek wrote a Monogram Close-Up (soft cover booklet) on the Do 335 about 20-25 years ago. After they'd moved on from Monogram, the owner Tom Hitchcock expanded that, with contributions of his own, into a harcover book in the Monogram Monarch series. Smith & Creek took no part in producing that new version which incorporated previously published material of theirs.

The Classic book is the hardback that Smith & Creek have written themselves, with x years' additional material built-in.
