Hi Jochen, I guess it's hard when they withdrew so many fighters from the Mediterranean and they were all gone by early September. But I always hope for undiscovered "treasure" on this particular topic (and I recently found a little: some more about Uffz. Walter Lang of 1./JG 200 which I plan to add to my website in July).

Things I have missed (but maybe you haven't!) include these aspects of I./JG 2's time in Italy, and JG 200's daily operational report for 31 July 1944.

Re: Prayer to Jochen Prien

Hello Jochen,

I'd like to know if in the structure of Vol. 13 there will be a general part on the Reichsverteidigung alone giving a day to day account of aerial daylight operations over the Reich in 1944 as for Vol 10/I.

Best regards

Marco

Prayer to Jochen Prien

Mr. Prien,

first of all let me thank you for your excellent work. I do have one question for you. Will we ever see the other volumes of JG 3 in English? I have the first two that were published by Schiffer.

Thanks again,

James Sontag
