Re: New books by Brian Cull

Excellent, I'm glad I made your day! It made mine when I received the book. I have finished it and enjoyed it greatly. I liked the chapters on the Italian intervention and the clashes over Swiss territory, as I knew very little about these events. Also, all the information on the Fleet Air Arm activities was appreciated. Thanks again.

LOL! Instead of a check, a second volume of "With The Yanks In Korea" would be greatly appreciated. Some publisher somewhere needs to support that work being completed.

It appears that 'With the Yanks in Korea Vol 2' is underway (scroll to last paragraph):

Re: New books by Brian Cull

Hi Bruce and other interested parties

The intention is that Dennis and I will extract and revamp relevant information from Volume I and include it in Volume II, which will concentrate on British and Commonwealth activities at the expense of the USAF!

There will be a new publisher, so costs will be kept down, we hope, to the £20 mark.

Will keep one and all informed of progress.

Cheers
Brian

Re: New books by Brian Cull

Happy new year Brian !

Today I received The first of the few, the book seems very good (as always).

A the beginning of chapter one you write that the RAF lost 177 aircraft during the nine days of operation Dynamo.

Do you have the repartition of these losses by type of aircraft ?

Thank you very much

Alain (from France)
