Alarmstartet? - Perhaps...

Having just re-read your question I got a doubt. In theory someone could possibly have written this, even in a book, but it would not be correct standard German but rather familiar, colloquial, offhand: you would speak like this very informally to some comrades, for example if all the guys involved are mechanics:

"Er alarmstartet, nachdem feindliche Flugzeuge..." (He takes off in a hurry after some enemy aircraft...).

I can imagine such a phrase but then, I am NOT German so I think our German comrades here are in a position to make a better assessment than I can. In any case this possible word can be used (because of German grammatics), if at all, only to say that a pilot (only ONE) is taking off in a hurry, in an emergency. Not possible for several ones. (It's similar in English: he takeS off means one pilot only).

I meant one pilot or several together took or take off on Alarmstarts, plural.

OK

Yes, excuse me: I forgot the first lines of your inquiry. "alarmstartet" would be wrong.

Re: Query re: German nomenclature

"Alarmstartet" is not used in the German language, neither as a verb nor as a noun ...
