Re: Photo Fokker D.II

Clint

It is clearly a mix of both Fokker D.II (four) and D.III (two), with the D.III closest to the camera. The two D.II in the background seems to be flanked by a Halberstadt fighter. An extremely interesting photo by the way.

Cheers
Stig

Stig,

What annoys me about myself is that its sooo d*mn obvious, if I'd only taken the time to look properly... Note to self. Don't do this again!

Stig,

Well, I'm concerned that the olympics may be cancelled due to the corona virus. I had believed that I had serious medal hopes in the competetive cumulative error event.

Has anyone a known unit that operated the aircraft shown?

Re: Photo Fokker D.II/D.III

Clint

To be honest I think I see a digit 1 in front which would thus make it 1524/16 (or even 1504/16, but I also think it is a digit 2 and not a 0)

Cheers
Stig
