Early He 111 wing

Does anybody know what type of wing was installed on 'chinese' He 111 A's? Was it elliptical, fabric covered as in use on He 111 C's or maybe all-metal, slightly clipped as on V4 D-AHAO?

I think it should be early type as used on C-version but there seems to be no photographic evidence available...

regards,
Pawel

Re: Early He 111 wing

There were some blurry photos in Revi magazine, and one decent photograph on Lennart Anderson's site, but not one that shows wing planform.

Re: Early He 111 wing

The second one is export version for Turkey with later type of wing with straight leading edge.
Regarding the first photograph I am not 100% certain what type of wing it is although seems to be earliest, fabric covered with rounded wingtips.

Re: Early He 111 wing

According to Karlheinz Regnat: Heinkel He 111 p.33 (photo of a He111A-0 with Chinese delegation) the A-0 featured rounded leading edges of the outer wing with two BMW VI OZ inline engines.
The other depicted He 111 in Chinese service features radials and doesn´t seem to be a A-0 but a civil version. Maybe a C-0 or G-3 version with BMW 132 radials.

Regards

Roland
