Battle of Britain - daily Luftwaffe sortie numbers

I'm doing some work on the statistics of the Battle of Britain, and am looking for precise daily figures for numbers of Luftwaffe sorties flown. (I have the other daily figures I need - for RAF sorties and for RAF and German losses, the latter from 'Battle of Britain: then and now'.)

Can anyone help me with an accessible source?

Thanks.

(...bump...)

I'm still keen to get hold of these numbers, so if
anyone has any information, it would be most
appreciated.

Hooton's 'Eagles in Flames' does have tables of monthly anti-shipping sorties by the Luftwaffe for the period - not quite the same thing, but a starting point, nonetheless

Re: Battle of Britain - daily Luftwaffe sortie numbers

IIRC there are only daily reports surviving from one of the Luftflotten concerned (I think I read this in Stephen Bungay's "The Most dangerous Enemy").

Re: Battle of Britain - daily Luftwaffe sortie numbers

There are some quite detailed daily Einzelmeldungen from Lfl.Kdo. 3 on T321 R88 microfilm. I have some typed down but cannot be held responsible for accuracy of my handmade copy

Pawel

Re: Battle of Britain - daily Luftwaffe sortie numbers

Thanks, everyone.

Pawel - thanks for the offer, but unfortunately I can't really
use partial numbers (for one air fleet only), so I won't take
you up.
