21-22 July 1944 loss C-47 of 10 TCS/60TCG Croatia
Dear all,
On 21-22 July 1944, a C-47 of 10 TCS/60TCG was attacked and shot down by a Ju88 whilst circling over its Drop Zone in Croatia. Who can provide me with the serial number of the aircraft, and the location of the Drop Zone/crash location? Cheers and thanks for any info, Theo

C-47A 41-18388, pilot 2nd Lt Morris N Houser. Crew of 5, 4 KIA, co-pilot 2nd Lt Pinkney Largent evaded. MACR 14290. Last seen at 45-37-25N, 17-25-00E at 2335 hours. I will try to email you the relevant pages of the MACR. Enjoy! Frank.
