Re: Sunderland N9028 shot down 21 July 1940

A large plane was observed crashed in the sea by the island of Adsen, 70 km north of Trondheim. Not far from the lighthouse out there. The people who saw the accident died a few years ago, they thought it was later in the war than the summer of 1940, while the position is 100 % .The Germans demanded a fishing boat and went out and found one of the crew in the live.It was told that the plane was shot downed by 2 fighters .
