Re: Uffz.Heinrich Bruckner 8/NJG1 crashed 7.7.41

Hi Chris not wanting to be pedantic but Petzold flew with 3/ZG76 as Bordfunker to Ofw. Georg Fleischman , during the Polish Campaign of 9.39 and through till 2.1.40.
Best regs,
Steve.

He did and that is the trouble of doing things from memory! 2 Jan 40 was when Petzold was wounded in combat and while in hospital (to 6 Sep 40), Fleischmann was killed with a new BF

Re: Uffz.Heinrich Bruckner 8/NJG1 crashed 7.7.41

Hi, could anybody please help with the usual loss detail for Fleischman and Petzold on 2.1.40. I do know they were flying Bf110 M8+GL this day.
Best regs,
Steve.

Re: Uffz.Heinrich Bruckner 8/NJG1 crashed 7.7.41

Mission was Feindflug and in comments "Wounded on Feindflug-1 abschuss". His first was 1 Sep 39 but he stopped counting after Poland (18th was 25 Sep 39)
