Help identifying Hauptmann from IV/KG 27

Good night for all members.

Could someone who understand or read German help me identifying the correct name of this Hauptmann from IV/KG 27 that was shot down or wounded by Flak?

MY deepest GRATITUDE.

Adriano

Is there a date for the incident? I can look it up that way.

Re: Help identifying Hauptmann from IV/KG 27

Jim,

The incident is mentioned on a letter from Hauptmann Dehn (IV Gruppe) to a possible "girlfriend", in September 1943. I can check the date he wrote the letter (do not remember it by heart now). My German is very poor but I understood (it seems that Dehn was wounded) that Dehn was either flying on the same mission that this Hauptmann went missing (bought down by Flak) or he was indeed on the same crew and airplane. It is not clear, since I only am able to identify words in German and in hand written letter it is even more difficult to read and understand, since each person do have his own style of writing.

Please allow me one day or two to check the date positively...it may be BEFORE the letter was written. Dehn was at that time in a Lazarett in Germany.

Re: Help identifying Hauptmann from IV/KG 27

JIM,

The letter is dated 27th September 1943, im Osten.

He later (17th November 1943) wrote a letter to the same Fräunlein, informing he was operated (cirurgy) on the 9th November. This letter came from LW Lazarett Dommelkeim but was posted (Post) from Drugehnen.

Would you have by chance, any entry from September 1943 up to 9th November 1943 where Hauptmann Dehn is wounded? I can not find why he went to this Hospital....

Sadly I do not have the 5 Teils of KG 27 Boelcke history in German language. Maybe the answer is there, but not accessible for me now.

I have no loss record for Dehn. Maybe he was not wounded but had other issues?
