Caudron C.445 LKS 4

The last letters of this aircraft were +QF; does anyone have the full code and history?

This is most likely to be BC+QF - W/Nr.430/9158 which was with LKS 4 from Dec 41. There was also CH+QF and SJ+QF but these had no association with LKS 4

OK guys since I have been chastised for moving stuff from one forum to another this is a French airplane used by the Germans with German SKZs. So where does it belong?

If it was being operated by FAF, Allied Forum. As it was operated by Luftwaffe this Forum methinks!

Re: Caudron C.445 LKS 4

Hi Michel - Post 4
Thanks for your info
I forgot to add RC+QF so thanks for the addition.
However, the following are typos and mistakes
PC+QF is in fact a typo for BC+QF
PD+QF is a typo for PD+CF (687/9423)
TC+QF is a typo for either TN+GF or TN+QF
I did not include the latter two Stkz because of the ambiguity to which Stkz Block were applied to which W/Nr.Block. Is your TC+QF a mistake or do you have a source for this Stkz?
Only BC+QF has any association with LKS 4

Re: Caudron C.445 LKS 4

Hi Tom

In the list of STkz "long as the arm",I got a little mixed.

TC+QF,read TN+QF
In the series of PD+..,right ,actually there is not PD+Q.,but only PD+CB,PD+CC.....etc etc, last PD+CZ.(in my list)

Def German section.
Even if it was a French original type, it was taken over by the Luftwaffe and ordered in quantity production. I agree 100% with Chris

Cheers
Stig

Re: Caudron C.445 LKS 4

I have scanned and enhanced 2 photos from different pilots saying LKS 4-one shows BC, the other QF so that sort of helps us out! Camo was the pale one not green. Thanks all. I should also add I have a photo of SF+DN Wk Nr 800 at FFS (C) 18 in Jun 43
