FWIW, you identify this as a Bf 109 G-6 found at Comiso, Sicily in your Flickr steam... I believe it to be a G-4, however. Mark Proulx |

In this image, or others, I am not seeing the aft portion of cowl bulge (characteristic of the G-6) on the fuselage or evidence that one was previously fitted.
