Seems, like nobody know answer, but I would bet that I saw photos of Japanese general in Taganrog on Eastern front in 1941? following your link to eBay. Can you remember of this? I am looking for date of this even.

I may have seen this person, but I do not remember. What I do recall is that these individuals are usually only identified as Japanese, and on occasion, as Japanese officer or General. However, I will try to research this subject a bit.

This three? photos in question show a Japanese general well know for cruelty later in the war (that was written following posting the link for eBay), and general is surrounded by Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht officers in front of Ju 52. Maybe you remeber of it now?
