Edward James Egan
Dear All,
I have a question about Edward James Egan (poor dear, he died so young...). http://www.kenley-rafa.org.uk/egan-edward-eddy-james/ The website says that he was living with his parents (At the time he was still living with his parents at 77 Melbourne Grove, East Dulwich.) and that, after his death, his mother was desperate to find his remains. Do you happen to know whether he was an only child or whether he had any brothers or sisters? Thank you in advance. |

Re: Edward James Egan
Hello,
He had a sister, Grace A, born Dartford, in the March 1922 Qtr. Mother's maiden name was Elliott. Appears Grace married a chap named Somerville in the September 1941 Qtr. Dave |

Dear Dave,
Thank you very much for your answer. By the way, what does Qtr. stand for? Best regards, Teresa |

Re: Edward James Egan
Dear Chris,
Thank you very much. In Poland we talk about the first, the second, etc. quarter, but not the March, September, etc. quarter. Thank you for enriching my cultural knowledge. :-) I may be fluent in English, but there are things I still don't know. |
