Don't found any 822429 8222428 with III.KG26 on sept. 1943 822430 with III.KG30 AUG.43 , but with IV.LG1 a 2429 0n Sedes 24.juni 1943, but pres. a A-4 of old serie..
I steal a little bit your attention , about the "Jgr.128" a Fw190 loss at start from Brest the 31.dec.1943 pilot killed , anything more known ??

Re: Ju 88 Wk Nr 8222429

Ju 88 A-4 LT 822430 1H+CT was also lost with III/KG 26 in August 1943, but eventual fate of 822429 is unk to me, possibly it was with IV/KG 26 in March 1944, but could be other unit.

Hi Chris:

What prompted your interest in the 822429? Were you just checking for gaps?

cheers!

Re: Ju 88 Wk Nr 8222429

Chris: Ju 88 with 2429 on tail gives more possibilities: A-5 2429 (I/KG 30 crashed nr Beuvais 1941), A-4 142429 (known with IV/LG 1 06.1943), A-4 822429 (not known).

If "tail" does not have aerodynanamic balance at top of rudder it is likely the A-5 but with ´balance´ you have choise of the latter two. Presentation styles on Ju 88 A-4 tails also varied (and can give hints). If number is small ´2429´ on fin tip fillet, this was more likely (in my opinion) 142429 but if larger closer to Swasticka (or often/even placed below it) this is more likely A-4 (or A-17) 822429. Showing us (me) the photo might also help.
