Lt. Gotthard Sachsenberg NJG 3
Hi everyone,
by co-incidence, is anybody having details of his birth and career or even his photo? I am aware of his two claims in 1943 and details of his mortal fight on March 8, 1944. Even small bits would be helpful. Frage Viktor!

Re: Lt. Gotthard Sachsenberg NJG 3
Jan,
The recently published Die personellen Verluste der deutschen Nachtjagdgeschwader 1940-1945, by Veit Scherzer lists Gotthard Sachsenberg as born in Berlin on Dec 14, 1919, died in Volkenroda on March 8, 1944, flying Ju-88C-6 750895. The book is organized by Geschwader, Gruppe, Staffel, and then alphabetic by casualty; I could not see any other references to 750895, but I may have missed them. Frank.
