Loss of P-47D - #42-28368 - 9 Oct 1944
This a/c was reported 'crash landed' at Juvincourt, Fr (A-68) 9 Oct 44. It was assigned to 53rd FS, 36th FG. The pilot, 2/Lt William BELTRAN was killed. There is no MACR as loss occurred at the field. Searching for any other details on what happened and whether a/c was totally destroyed. Thanks for any help or info. Bob
