109 G6 part identification

Hello!

Just found this specific part on a 109 G6 crash area.
Could you help me?
I found a ring of the pilot (named) very close.
Thanks in advance.

Yaneck

Re: 109 G6 part identification

The maker is Preschona.

This is an item common to many German types. I have had several of them, and am pretty sure (from memory!) that it is the removable (unscrewable) top for an oil dipstick. The colour-coded brown paint (for oil) is also in evidence. If I am right, you can see where the blade of the stick has broken off.

It was also used on the hydrauic and fuel systems. The Fuel Primer tank had this type is dipstick...but as Andy pointed out, this specific one is from the Oil.

Hello Yaneck,

Are you willing to give his name - just by curiosity?
