Re: Bf-110 nightfighter question

If you wish to learn more about German night fighters and night fighting, try reading a book like "History of the German Night Fighter Force 1917 - 1945" by Gebhard Aders. There are many other books that give partial pictures of the Me 110 night fighters and others, but this is probably the best.

Re: Bf-110 nightfighter question

The vast majority of LW NF aces solely flew the 110 or had so for some part of their NFing career. See http://users.accesscomm.ca/magnusfamily/airaces1.htm

Re: Bf-110 nightfighter question

carpenoctem1689, if you want to known the complete luftwaffe nightfighter claims you must read : LUFTWAFFE NIGHT FIGHTER COMBAT CLAIMS 1939/1945 by J.Foreman/J.Matthews/S.Parry edit by Red Kite.
Every nightfighter pilot fly on BF 110 and the German top scorer at night H.W. Schnaufer destroyed all his 121 british bombers on a Bf 110 (first victim an Halifax shot down near Louvain 2 june 1942 - last victory 7 march 45 a Lancaster NE Helmstedt)
