Here's one:
"Aviatsiia V Bitve Nad Orlovsko-Kurskoi Dugoi: Oboronitelnyi Period" (Aviation at the Oryol-Kursk Battle) by Dmitrii Khazanov and Vitalii Gorbach, 2004, 200 pages, ISBN: 5-902011-07-8.

Covers the aerial campaign at Kursk from both the Soviet and German sides (about 60% VVS, 40% Luftwaffe.) Good quality publication with lots of well-reproduced photos and nice maps. Contains extensive endnotes and appendices, including OOBs, strengths, losses, and claims. All text in Russian.

Cover and sample pages here: http://www.aviapress.com/viewonekit.htm?OTH-228

(Disclaimer: I'm not associated with the book or AviaPress in any way)

Some of these latest Russian publications are SCREAMING for a translation - English, German or French, who cares as long as it becomes more accessible!

Re: Book about the Luftwaffe in the battle of Kursk

Why ruin the whole idea by doing a German or French edition and by such an idiotic decision rule out large number of potential customers for whom German or French is as alien as Russian???

Re: Book about the Luftwaffe in the battle of Kursk

Jukka,

If someone translates it to English fine, but if there isn't such a translation, I'd settle for German or French. I am sorry if that is a problem for you, it fortunately isn't for me.

That's life.

Russian however is a problem for me, although perhaps not for you.

Again that's life.

We've been here before Jukka, so pretty much a dead horse, right?
