HI 'Jagdkommando',

one of my interests is collecting data about the Ju 52. Unfortunately I don't have access to, or a copy of, the Luftwaffe losses database (that would be nice!) and the best I can offer is this:

BA+KK may lie somewhere between Junkers-built 6731 (BA+KI) and 6738 (BA+KM), both fairly late g4e versions. I guess you have this information anyway.

Cheers

Graham

Hi Jagdkommando,

as per my previous posting, if the code does come from the production sequence suggested the version is a g4e. At the date April 1940 it is unlikely that any version other than a g3e, g4e or ge (civil version, leased or seconded to Luftwaffe) is applicable. The later g5e certainly appeared in the latter half of 1940 - the earliest confirmed number that I have (from a manufacturer's data plate) is 6935, and the earliest confirmed date seen by me is 12 October 1940 for first flight of g5e no. 7018.

I expect someone 'out there' is sitting on far more information than this - the flying logs of Junkers factory pilots would be the real gold mine.

Cheers

Graham
