P-51 44-14773
Hello ,
On february 23 1945 P-51 44-14773 from 359FG/370FS was lost , killing the pilot 2nd Lt Paulette Malcolm C 0-832679. Is there anyone who has an idea were this happened ? Alain57 |

According to the MACR 12637, "south of Zwickan, Germany."
Check http://www.footnote.com/search.php?query=44-14773 for more details. Zwickan may be a typo for Zwickau. |

Yes it was Zwickau ; PTW escort to B-17s in central Germany. The 359th lost 3 more pilots this day; Lt. Meyer( 369th) crashed while strafing in Germany, Lt. McGregor (370th) killed in accident in Norfolk, Capt. Lyon ( 370th) lost with Paulette near Zwickau.
