KG 40 - Uetersen

Hi,

I found recently within documents of the BA that the KG 40 was established at Fl.H. Uetersen (dec 1939). Does anybody have any further information about the KG 40 at Uetersen? Does RL 10/563 "Oberst a.D. Edgar Petersen, Kommodore KG 40: Entstehungsgeschichte des Geschwaders" say something about the establishment at Uetersen?

It may be because you need five posts to become a full member of the forum, so posting a response to this (which would be your fifth post) may solve the problem.

Ok, Chris, thank you for the info. RL 19-11/73 states that the 1./KG 40 was established 01. nov 1939 at Bremen. So it seems 1./KG 40 moved to Uetersen in dec.
