Re: Lt. Henry Peters or Dincalci P-40 USAAF

He was born Henry Albert Dincalci. His mother divorced his father and married a man named Percy Hubert Peters in the 1930s. According to the 1940 census, Henry was then Henry Albert Peters.

Henry was a liaison pilot and served in Burma. He may have also served later in the Korean War.

Re: Lt. Henry Peters or Dincalci P-40 USAAF

Many kind thanks. Old folks memories fade a bit. He did mention p40 when visiting family in ny, during the war. Now I’m old(er) and understand why.
Thanks again for your efforts. Be well, and safe this Memorial Day weekend.
