ZG 76

Hello Peter

19 December 1943: Oberleutnant Walter Schweizer (F) and Unteroffizier Hans Pehle (Bf) of 1./ZG 76 killed in Bf 110 G-2 (W.Nr. 120 077) at Fl. Pl. Neuburg (nicht feindbeobachtet). Feldwebel Heinz Brügemann (F) of 7./ZG 76 was wounded at Fl. Pl. Salzburg by enemy fire (nicht feindbeobachtet) and Bf 110 G-2 (W.Nr. 6333) of II./ZG 76 collided while taxiing with Bf 109 G-6 (W.Nr. 160 726) of Oberleutnant Gustav Frielinghaus (74 victories, RK), Staffelkapitän of 11./JG 3, at Fl. Pl. Neubiberg and burst into flames on the ground although the crew were unharmed. I hope this helps.

Horrido!

Leo

Hi Leo

It helped a lot. I do not know why but I listed Bruegermann as I. Gruppe ZG 76 and that is why numbers were not matching for me Thanks for clearing this out...

Peter
