Re: Lost of Mosquitos in Norway:1945
P.17,it's a Marauder(14 Sq RAF)?
P.143,a Lancaster (1656 Conversion RAF)? It's not really what I'm looking for. michel |

Re: Lost of Mosquitos in Norway:1945
Michel, what you want re Q is on the actual page numbers 1 and 127. Both reports are the same except there is one report for each crew member.
Ignore Pages 17 and 143. Peter |

Re: Lost of Mosquitos in Norway:1945
11 January 1945: claim by Lt Hans Vollet of 16/JG 5 for a Mosquito, west of Lister.
7 March 1945:Mid-air collision between two Mosquitos. 12 March 1945: one Mosquito and one Mustang claimed by JG 5. The Mosquito may have been claimed by Fw Adolf Lenz of 13/JG 5. Thank's
12/03/45 I assume and I deduce that the mustang (19°Sq) is one of the two claimed by Heinz Kappler. michel |

Michel
You need to purchase my book A Separate Little War by Grub Street Publishing its about £20:00 Has all the losses for the Banff Wing which you refer to: O-Orange 235 was flown by my relative Sydney Hawkins (pilot) and Eric Stubbs (navigator) they'd previously flown missions with 603 Squadron in the Middle East Andy Bird |
