Tony Woods list error?

I have found a problem in Tony Woods List for the 22 September 1942. In his list it has Fw. Werner Lucas 4./JG 3 Pe-2 19 670 at 5,600 m 07.44 Film C. 2032/II Anerk: Nr. 434
The problem is that he was on the front line in the Rzhev - Zubtsov area at that time and flew a mission the next morning on 23rd. I then checked Prien’s JFV 9/II and there is no victory claim for him on the 22 September 1942. In JFV 9/III there is a victory claim for a pilot of 4/JG 54 listed for a Pe-2 in that area. Can anyone verify that this microfilm has Lucas, or is this an error on Tony’s part.

You should be able to check for yourself now the Bundesarchiv has put the claims lists online to view or download. However some of them are extremely hard to read in my very limited experience. Image processing software can help though.

Thank you Chris and Nick. I checked with someone else and Lucas didn’t claim that day. I am now sure that it was a error on Tony’s part with the eye strain of looking at those films and entering them. Still we all owe help a great thanks for it.
