Soviet Aircraft Identification.
I had completely forgotten about this photograph, and now with time to be able to start cataloguing and filing some of my photographs, I am hoping that someone can help identify the aircraft type?
All help will be gratefully received, and many thanks in advance. Regards Richard. |

Re: Soviet Aircraft Identification.
More pedantically, just SB. The Western habit of calling it the SB-2 probably (my guess) came from the Russian use of SB-2M100 identifying the engines. Whether this example is an SB-2M100 or an SB-2M105 is impossible to tell from this photo, but probably an early example from the gun position.
