Spitfire Collision over Kent 27 July 1941
Having just dipped back into some "unsolved" 1941 incidents for light relief from other projects, here is one such incident that has thus far eluded me.
On 27 July 1941 two Spitfires collided near Southfleet, Kent, 13.32 hours. One pilot baled out. The other killed. That is all I have. I have not picked it up in my various ORB trawls of 1941, nor has it surfaced elsewhere. Can anyone add in any detail?
