After the war the fighter pilot Walter Lehweß-Litzmann read by chance in the magazine "Aerosport" under the headline "Stuka exploded" about the partisan Anna Morosova and immediately found the explanation for the inexplicable explosion of his Ju 88 on September 7, 1943. He had been thrown out of the plane in his tank seat, which probably saved his life, landed with his parachute and fell into Soviet captivity.
