Trying to ID Fi156 coded 50-R24 from the Polish Campaign period

Hello,

Recently acquired photo of this a/c, probably taken during the Polish Campaign. The third and fifth digits are white. Does anybody know what unit this might have belonged to?

Thanx,

Re: Trying to ID Fi156 coded 50-R24 from the Polish Campaign period

According to the reasoning of a LEMB thread here Larry, it looks like this Fi156 served with Aufklärungsgruppe 15 (later Aufklärungsgruppe 15)... but I find these pre-war five character codes a nightmare and it wouldn't surprise me if this were wrong

Cheers
