Old Topic-When did Maj Georg Peter Eder crash in a Me262
So when was Maj Eder finally shot down and removed from active service? According to most reports(LW Officer List and others) he was shot down on Jan 22, 1945 while landing at Parchim. He broke both legs and was out of comission for the rest of the war.
Yet there are other reports of him crash landing WkN 501199 at Briest on Feb 17,1945? For example, Obermaier has him crashing on Feb 17,1945. Can anyone clear this up? Last edited by kaki3152; 4th June 2014 at 15:59.
