Information concerning the loss of Feldwebel Theobald Ausburger - killed 08.09.1941 in the East

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on this flier called Theobald Ausburger who was lost over Russia on the 8th September 1941?

Hello Rick,

according to the Gen.Qu. loss report from September 9, 1941 and the correction from October 3, 1941 Fw Theobald Auburger was missing/killed in action on September 6, 1941.
He was the observer on board of a He 111 H-6 of 8./KG 26.

Flugzeugführer Lt Neukirch, Georg, +
Beobachter Fw Auburger, Theobald, +
Bordfunker Uffz Pariasek, Friedrich, verletzt
Bordschütze Uffz Maegermanns, Alfons, verletzt
Flakbeschuß. Bruch 100 %.
