KG26/LG1 9/10 Aug.1941

One plane of one of these Geschwadern made some forcelanding on sea on return flight from Egypt/Libya , the 5 crew-members, so possibly more concerned KG26, saved by 2 Do24 on 10.th Aug. , didn'nt found in usual list this plane, who knows more ??

but what about

FF. Oblt. Karl-Heinz Bock, with his crew
BO.Horst Brückner, BM. Fw. Hans Kaden, BS. Gfr. Willi Wittig, and a Kriegsberichter .


There is a story like this page 123-129 in the book "Achtung Torpedo los" by Rudolf Schmidt.

There is not an exact date in the book about this story Remi.
it`s only refering to the timeperiod June-December 1941
